Nestled at the base of the Big Horn Mountains on 1,912 acres, and 12 miles southwest of Sheridan, Wyoming, the ranch gets its name from being the site of one of the first polo fields in the nation.

Polo Ranch was founded by an English aristocrat, and originally used in 1899 to furnish trained horses to the British Cavalry during the Boer War. Today, the original polo field accommodates cutting and reining horses, and Polo Ranch is acknowledged to be one of the finest equestian centers in Wyoming.
